Greatful Voices

Don't ya love it when good people get together to do good things?

Artists participating in Voices for a Greatful Nation have just zipped to the top of my pat on the back list.

An exceptional group of Texas songwriters wrote songs and revisited wartime classics in support of veteran issues. Volumes I and II are the first two "Texas-flavored" recordings that will be followed by additional releases from different parts of the country.

Some of the familiar names you'll see who lent their talents to the cause are: Jesse Dayton, Del Castillo Band, Jimmy LaFave, Kieran Kane, The Band of Heathens, Rusty Wier, Deryl Dodd & Jon Christopher Davis, Brandon Rhyder, Johnny Bush, Charlie Louvin & Brennen Leigh, Mike Cross & Robyn Ludwick, James Hand Terri Hendrix, Walt & Tina Wilkins, Ray Benson, Davin James & Gary P. Nunn, Mark Jungers & Susan Gibson, Michael Martin Murphey & the Rio Grande Band.

Come out to Antone’s Nov. 10 for a Veteran’s Day-eve celebration to express gratitude and pride forthe nations troops and veterans.
